Translator- Week 8

Hello, I'm Marta Martínez and this week I've been the translator so here there are the most      important words for us in this task :

Connections with peers : Is the relationship you have with your classmates or friends. A good relationship favors positive marks, and conversely a bad relationship can have negative academic effects. The teacher should also favor this connection.

Relationship: a strong feeling amog family, lovers, friends in wich people evidence their love, honesty, loyalty and affect to the other.

Prior knowledge:  it is something you already know before nobody teaches you, your mind develops this strategy that alows you to know a bit of what you have to do without the full information

Roleplay:  activity in wich people act been different people that they are. It is like a small theater and usually people performance daily actions.

Video: a visual resource that people used for different aims. For example for doing works, for capturing wonderful moments and for comunicating with friends, teachers or family.

Analyst - Week 8 -

Hi! I'm Andrea and this week I've been the analyst of my group.
The best part of the activity was the recording of the videos, we had so much fun working with mates from other groups. On the other hand, it was a little bit stressing the fact of working against the clock.
I think our group is taking into account every member's opinion, and we are very organized when we have to divide the work. Our bad point this week has been the absence of some of the members of Wednesday, but we finally solve this problem, so we are happy with our work this week.

Journalist - Week 8 -

Hello everyone! I'm Monica, the journalist of this week, the 7.2 work !!
This task has been based on the continuation of the previous one.
The issue of complexities, and although it was a difficult subject, we had to continue working on it to understand it perfectly. The difference between this task and the previous one is that we have had to relate the complexity in different cases. Then divide into groups to read each relationship and perform one of the scenarios in video form, about 3:50 seconds.
Here are some photos of the group work.

On Monday we connected to Skype so that each member of the group discussed their relationship, put them together so that we all knew the themes of each relationship.

On Tuesday we did not connect because we had finished the theoretical work.

Wednesday was the day of the presentations, each star had to act as director of the work and among many members of other groups, to carry it out.
Here I leave some photos of the scenarios that mounted different groups.

Star - Week 8 -

Hi everyone! Welcome one more time to our blog. I'm Lucy and this week I had to be the Star of my group.
The task of this week was about record two videos with one of our cases which we had created or with one of the different member of others groups. So the role of the Star was to be the film director.
First, my group had to think about five cases to represent and which had to be related with the relations set by an article we had to read. Then, we divided each relation between the members of the group and we started to think about how can we stage the idea. When we had all the ideas thought, we orded them in a Word and we finished this part of the work we had to do.
The Wednesday, the teacher asked to the Stars to go to the blackboard and then she divided us in pairs and each pair chose the idea on which they wanted to work. So I decided to choose the idea called "Connection within the Learning Process" and as Javier (Star's Wildcats group) chose the same idea like me, we worked together. When we had all the members we need, we read all our cases and finally we chose two of them, because we had to do two videos, which are those from the Wildcats group and ArquiTeachers group. Then we moved to another class which was empty and there we divided us into two groups: one group worked with Javier and the another one worked with me.
The recording process was very funny to me, because I enjoyed the time that we are talking about what are we going to represented, what would be the role of each member of the group and finally when we had all clear and we recorded the scene.
I had high expectations on this tasks because It's something that I always wanted to do and finally I really enjoyed all the process of thinking the ideas and recording.

Here are the names of the people who worked with Javier and me:
Javier (the Star of the Wildcats group)
Alba
(Fishers in the river): She interpreted a standar student.

Beatriz (Fishers in the river): She interpreted a standar student.
Pepe (The Superstars): He interpreted the divorced teacher.
Marisa (Spiky Teachers): She interpreted a standar student.
Andrea (Spiky Teachers): She interpreted a standar student.

Lucy (yes, that's me, the Star of the Superstars)
Melania (Spacers 2.0): She interpreted the student who bothered in class.
Helena (Flower Power): She interpreted the student who was the smartest of the class.
Emma (Spiky Teachers): She interpreted a standar student.
Louise (Ladies and Gentleman): She interpreted the shy student.

Curator-Farmer - Week 8 -

Hello everyone, I am Pepe, welcome everyone one week more to our blog.

This 8th week I have performed the role of Curator-Farmer in my group, and throughout this week we have seen the five types of relationships at schools.

Here I leave the link to take a look at the mind map, and also the  academic references we have used:

Facilitator - Week 8 -

Hello everyone! My name is Cristina and this week I am the facilitator of my group. My goal during these days is to motivate my colleagues to do the task and distribute the work in a way that results easier for everyone and the final result is positive.

The task of this week is called Connections & Relationships and it is the continuation of the work of last week. For doing this task we have divided in pairs the 5 types of relationships at school and once we have read and understood everything we have put together the main ideas. Also, in pairs, we have thought a possible situation for each type of relationship since on Wednesday our star should be prepared to be a film director.

From my point of view this task has been easy as we have not spent much time and we could understand everything quickly. I also found it funny, especially on Wednesday when each group had to record a video representing a type of connection at schools. I think this group has worked very well throughout the week, helping each other and creating a good working environment.

See you soon!
