I am Pepe and this week I have performed the role of journalist. The topic about we had to work throughout this week was the leadership styles in schools.
On Monday morning, as always, first of all we assigned a role for each member of the group. Once everyone had been assigned with his/her role, we started working together to accomplish our goal.
Here I leave a couple of pictures to illustrate how were the first moments:
Cristina was chosen as the star of our group, and for the next session of our class, which was held on Wednesday, she performed the role of a candidate for the new principal of a school.
On Monday in the afternoon, we all agreed to work through skype in order to get ready all the things about the exposition on Wednesday. We split the work between all the members of our group, and some worked to create the school characteristics plus Cristina's speech, and others making the posters and the stickers to support Cristina in the campaign as a new principal of the school. The following day, on Tuesday morning, we met up at university to make a video to support our star during her campaign, and in the afternoon we worked through skype to finish the last details that were left. In addition, a few sweets were bought in order to be offered during the wednesday session.
Finally, the great day arrived, Wednesday, and the performance of the different stars of each group to support their campaign took place in our class. We were all very excited about the staging of the campaign.
Before our star started with her campaign speech, some members of our group handed our candidate's leaflets to each group of the class (the same did the other groups), and others sticked our candidate's posters on the blackboard.

Here I leave the link of one blog from outside the classroom. It seemed to me very interesting because it reflects on good educational practices, and it also provides good advices for all the teachers. I hope you enjoy it.
