Translator Week 10
Hi, I'm Marta and this week I have been the translator so here there are the most important words for us in this work:
Elections: We understand by elections the process by which a person with different aspirations, concerns, or motivations can be chosen by the rest of the population as a representative of what is desired. In our case, the elections were carried out by each one of the leaders of our group, being able to express their ideas and their reasons why they should be chosen as directors of a school.
Authoritatian leadership: This type of leadership has not been used by any of us in our exhibitions since it consists of the total authority of the manager without taking into account the opinions of the employees. One of the positive aspects of this leadership is the speed of decision making, because it avoids discussions about why and how to do things, but the negative part is the lack of ideas that another person can contribute. The leader does not take into account The opinion of the other participants and insists on doing everything himself.
Participative leadership: In our case, this type of leadership has been the one we have used for this work since we think it is the best result you could have when making a decision. The leader takes into account the opinion of the other participants although the final decision has the, includes in their projects the ideas shown by others in order to achieve the best result. It is based on cooperation among all members and can also be called democratic leadership.
Transformational leadership: This type of leadership is based on predetermined agreements between the leader and the other team members. They agree when it comes to following the leader's instructions, which makes it very clear that the ultimate goal of the task is total success and that those who achieve it will receive previously agreed rewards or gratifications. In the same way, members who do not meet the expected expectations will be sanctioned for this.
Transactional leadership: Is a leader with such a high level of motivation and energy that he is able to bring this to maximum levels; Thus achieving greater participation and collaboration of the members of their team and at the same time achieving their objectives are more than fulfilled.
