Translator - Week 6 -

Hello everyone!  I am Pepe and throughout this week I have performed the role of translator. Now I'm going to explain the 5 most important concept of this task:

1.      Magazine covers.

It is the front page of a magazine.  It has different components as a masthead, selling line, dateline, the main image, model credit, coverline, main cover line and the bar code. as its name says, it is a resource in which we have to put the main ideas as it is an magazine.

2.      Summarize

To state or express the most important facts or ideas about something or someone, in a short and clear form.

3.      Graphic novel

Graphic novel is “a full-length story published as a book in comic-strip format. They are similar to comic books because they use sequential art to tell a story. Unlike  comic books, graphic novels are generally stand-alone stories  with more complex plots.

4.      Eye-catching

It is something which is very attractive and noticeable.

5.      Magazine Publisher

A business firm that publishes magazines. He/she works for a magazine and between his/her duties we can stand out the following ones:

-          be responsible for defining what a particular magazine is about and making sure that it is a success; define Magazine's Mission; hire Staff; make a budget; oversee editorial content; supervise production; represent magazine.
